Clean the stone leaves gently, like the leaves of houseplants – we recommend a soft brush. You can briefly rinse Hope the Turtle, but her apatite is sensitive to water. Do not leave her in water or a humid environment.

🐢 Symbolism of the Turtle
The turtle is an ancient symbol of wisdom, protection, and perseverance. Across mythologies – from India to North America – she carries the meaning of a world-bearer, connecting the depths of Water with the stillness of Earth. In astrology, she is linked to patience, inner truth, and the ability to walk slowly yet steadily towards one’s goal. The turtle knows when to stay within – and when to step out with trust.
🌳 Symbolism of the Tree of Life
The tree is revered by all human cultures (read more in this article) as a symbol of eternal life and rebirth. It connects the past (roots), present (trunk), and future (crown).
The roots draw on the wisdom of ancestors, the power of Earth and Water. The trunk represents thoughts, words, and actions, channeling their energy upward. The crown branches into blossoms, leaves, and fruits, symbolizing the future outcomes of our everyday efforts.
Thanks to this connection, the mineral Tree of Life, just like living trees in the forest, connects with the forces of Earth and Sky and is continuously nourished by the energy of Nature.
📜 Path of Hope
I met this little turtle thanks to a group of mineral lovers and a small family workshop on Java, Indonesia. She is hand-carved from local calcite, proudly carrying natural crystals on her back. We first crossed paths in April 2025 – and despite the distance, it was love at first sight. From the very beginning, she made it clear: she wanted her own Tree of Life!
So she set out on a long journey – slowly, yet with perfect certainty – until she finally reached my hands. Just in time to join a tantric retreat at the Living Water Centre. With the loving support of the place, her wish came true on May 29, 2025! Her Tree of Life blossomed in sky blue with soft pink petals, crowned by shimmering goldish leaves…
Her joyful glow soon caught the heart of her new keeper – who gave her the beautiful name Hope. And so, together they stepped onto a new path of shared adventure…

Minerals constantly work with the energy around them, so they need rest from time to time. Quartz with goldish rutile may fade in direct sunlight, so recharge your Hope the Turtle in indirect sunlight or under the full moon.
