🌳 Symbolism of the Tree of Life
The tree is revered by all human cultures (read more in this article) as a symbol of eternal life and rebirth. It connects the past (roots), present (trunk), and future (crown).
The roots draw on the wisdom of ancestors, the power of Earth and Water. The trunk represents thoughts, words, and actions, channeling their energy upward. The crown branches into blossoms, leaves, and fruits, symbolizing the future outcomes of our everyday efforts.
Thanks to this connection, the mineral Tree of Life, just like living trees in the forest, connects with the forces of Earth and Sky and is continuously nourished by the energy of Nature.
📜 Green Willow’s Journey
The whole story began with a flash of refreshing green at the 2024 spring mineral fair in Prague’s Holešovice district. I was drawn in by a unique piece of Czech peridotite from the Proseč quarry – a rock proudly bearing tiny crystals of peridot.
In May 2024, it travelled with me to Třebíč – a town of green corners, flowing water, and ancient willows. It was there, by the stream beneath their graceful crowns, that the green spark of inspiration reappeared. And so, as one of the first Trees of the Magical Forest, the Green Willow began to grow. Its branches shot up swiftly, while the roots took their time, anchoring themselves firmly into the stone.
Green Willow is an eager traveller – in the summer of 2024, it set off to a forest stream in the Vysočina region, savoured a snowy winter straight out of a Josef Lada painting, or blossoming gardens... A year later, she joined the pilgrimage with Vesmírná Synergie in Litoměřice. And after a short rest, it’s preparing to set out again – to find its new home, where it can bring the strength of nature, tranquillity, and joyful inspiration.
